Oh man I’d only seen this once before when I was about ten (i’m 23 now) and I fell over laughing! For years whenever steve martin would come up I’d ask people if they’d seen this bit and nobody had. Now finally I’ve had the chance to see it again. God bless you youtube!!!

Yeah, I’ve seen him play in that video. He’s really good. He used to play on SNL back in the 70′s.
this is from around the time carson did his last show. martin used to do this only at parties and carson talked him into doing it.
