Yeah, but ST3 was good (odd numbered) and Nemesis kinda ****** (even numbered). It’s a crap shoot either way. This new film may set a whole new standard.

Too many people do. It’s good to see that they’re targeting the mainstream audience and showing them what Star Trek actually can be. This looks amazing! Roll on may!!!
I have always dismissed Star Trek as nerdy and campy, but that looks awesome.

The events of the film basically create that alternate timeline.
I liked the first two trailers but I’m not sure what to think of this one. I’m hoping it’s a alternate timeline and not rewriting Trek canon.
