The books are amazing and the screen adaptations are wonderful too if you can get past the loss of your favorite scenes. I’m usually a total snob with screen adaptations…LOVED the films. They’re brilliant… Casting also brilliant.

omg i just noticed i went to see the 1st film and second film 10 times but with the prisoner it was 9 and goblet was 10 becuz it was well done and order 15 probaly half blood is going to be 19

Yes you’re right, but Michael Gamboin, as all true Potter fans will tell you, is a fucking disadter as Dumbledore…an elastic band tied round his beard, running everywhere, an Irish accent – awful. Not like the Dumbledore from the books. They should have given Ian McKellan whatever he wanted to make him play the part – it is beyone me why they didn’t get gim. (ie: Gandalf-esque).

It wasn’t random. The first 2 movies were done by the same director. Movie 3 had a different director. Movie 4 had a different director. Movie 5 had a different director – but he also directed movie 6 and possibly will direct movie 7. I don’t think they had in mind to keep the same director for all 7 (or
movies. Besides, didn’t all of you know that the guy playing Dumbledore in the first 2 movies had died? That’s why his character changed in movie 3.
You know what, I actually didn’t mind the movie. But I know what you mean. Order of Pheonix is my fav book in the series and I really wished they had really followed it.
