This Is One Of My FAVORITE MOVIES EVER.
i still think that there’s certain unique attributes about animation that just can’t compare to modern day computer graphics. modern day techniques just try too hard to create an interesting story. animation keeps certain things mysterious, some things are best kept unchanged. But, who knows, maybe 1 day they’ll make a better transformers version, mabe not.

i mean, he only landed a legsweep, and that was it. Most of the damage to Megatron was dealt by those pesky humans.
yeah it was a tear jerk ,,,girls should be forced to watch stuff like this and short circuit , godzilla ,nightrider ,,ateam etc and maybe most wouldnt grow up to be the confused heartless bitches we see today heh

I’m split 50/50 on this movie and it’s soundtrack but I have to admit “The Touch” is still a decent rocksong and Unicron’s theme is the perfect cimematic villans theme. Well’s had the perfect voice for him, too!
I didn’t cry when Optimus died but I did feel a huge twinge of sorrow at his passing. Yes, he’s just a cartoon android but it is what he and other Autobots characterized, Optimus represented the best of what we strive to be even if he’s just fictional!
They were making AMVs before making AMVs was popular.
James forgot to mention there were 2 types of opening the ‘star wars’ one – commonly seen in UK, and the ‘Superman’ one – which on the dvd says was the US opening – with the narration without words and the cast names zooming in like the begining of Superman (1978)

He recently reviewed the original 3. It was more of an evalutation of the movies and the story origins rather than a review of the movies themselves. Personally I can’t wait for him to review the prequels.

One of the most BADASS animated movies EVER! I have the soundtrack ripped to my PC! I had loads of Transformers toys, school supplies and glow-in-the-dark Transfomers pajamas! The coolest toys to come out of the 80′s by far. To me, this is a perfect movie–great story and a sountrack with nothing but great songs!!
