I looked it up and found there’s a game called God Hand: “God Hand(??????) is a video game developed by Clover Studio and published by Capcom for the PlayStation 2 video game console.” So I guess it’s something to do with the content of the game … or maybe it’s one of the kid’s nickname.

i heard once that god hand is a term used when a player has found a way to always win at a game, cards or other. tho i heard that years ago and think it’s rarely ever used.

In football (in Japan anyway), God Hand (?????? or ???) most likely refers to the famous Maradona’s goal scored by his left hand against England in the 1986 World Cup. Hand of God is more commonly used in the English language. But no kid tries to use his hand there so I don’t know if he meant it or not.
