Do you think that celebrity gossip gets to much mainstream news coverage?

KemI mean there are actually news worthy stories people should be aware of also. Does anyone agree with me? why or why not?...

Yes. And I don’t get it. I couldn’t give a flying flip who is divorcing whom and who is cheating on whom.

  2. I agree with you there is alot more important issues out there than putting celebrity lives under a microscope they deserve a breather and at the same time I would like to hear more serious issues on whats going on in the world.

Yes, I agree with you that celebrities are getting way too much coverage in the media. I wish the news would sometimes put their focus more on ordinary folks (as ourselves) who are contributing positive things to the world (i.e. – feeding the homeless, getting high scores in school…etc.)

  4. Yessss!!! I couldn’t care less how these celebrities live. Why we worship them is beyond me. Why don’t we give our attention, and money, to people who make a real contribution to society, like teachers , nurses, scientist, etc.

  5. because we need to know that reese whitherspoon is single and that madonna wants to alienate a baby into that kabbalah stuff. i mean its not like we are at war or something (note sarcasm)

My goodness yes. Call me a square, but I could care less about how much stars like Nicole Richie weigh, where Brad and Angelina are vacationing, or if Mel Gibson is a alcoholic. It’s absurd how much coverage these people get! I say, for those who simply must get the “daily dish” on the stars, give them about 1 hour of coverage PER DAY and move on to what’s important! Real news!
