What does visiting sites such as perezhilton.com, tmz.com and wwtdd.com do for you? Does it make you feel connected to celebrities, do you use it as an example of which to live (or of which not to live), do you like to make fun of the ridiculousness?
How often do you visit celebrity gossip websites? Once a day, multiple times a day, when I think about it, once a week, when something big happens involving the entertainment industry?

This stuff is NOT news and is NOT interesting. I perfectly understand that there is interestin such things and there should be a place to find out what is going on with famous people. That place is NOT the regular news. With war raging, genocide actively being committed and Global warming oing on, we had weeks of Anna Nicole Smith AFTER she was dead. There is not enough time in the day to cover all the genuine NEWS that goes on in a day yet they waste the majority of the mainstream NEWS programs with very inconsequential junk.
